📋 Overview
The Kanisa App allows you to manage your family as a household:
👤 Primary Member
Head of household (first to register)
💕 Spouse
Husband/Wife linked to primary
👶 Children
Dependents in the household
👶 How to Add Children
Both Primary and Spouse can add children:
- Open My Account
- Find the "My Household" section at the top
- Tap "+ Add Child" button
- Fill in the child's details (name, date of birth, gender)
- Tap Save
The child will appear in the household for both parents to see!
💕 How to Link Your Spouse
If your spouse has their own account, you can link your households:
- Make sure your spouse has registered with their phone number
- Open My Account
- Tap "Link to Spouse" (pink button)
- Enter your spouse's phone number
- Tap search 🔍 to find them
- Confirm by tapping "Link Accounts"
⚠️ Important: When you link to someone, YOU become the spouse in THEIR household. They become the primary member.
❓ Frequently Asked Questions
Why can't I see the "Link to Spouse" button?
This button is hidden if you're already linked as a spouse, or if you're a child account.
Why can't I edit my spouse's profile?
For privacy, each person can only edit their own profile. You can view your spouse's info but not change it.
My spouse doesn't appear. What's wrong?
Make sure: 1) Your spouse has registered 2) One of you used "Link to Spouse" 3) You're using the correct phone numbers
Can I unlink from my spouse?
Contact the church office - this needs to be done by an administrator.
Can children make payments?
Yes! Children can make payments from their own accounts.
